Terms of use
Last updated 2026-10-16
DailyChallenge.org is a free community site run by Sören Michaels as a private project (see the Impressum). By creating an account you agree to these terms. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.
1. The service
You can log results of daily web games, compare them with others, share challenge links, and comment on and react to what others post. The site is free and offered as is. We may change, pause or end features, or the whole site, at any time. We are not connected to the games listed on the site unless we say so.
2. Your account
Keep your login details to yourself. One person, one account; don't pretend to be someone else. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
3. What you post
You keep the rights to what you post. You allow us to store it, show it publicly on the site and through its API, and use it in leaderboards and stats, for as long as it is on the site. Only post what you are allowed to.
Don't post or do anything that:
- is illegal, or infringes someone else's rights (copyright, privacy, personality rights);
- insults, threatens, harasses or discriminates against people;
- is spam, advertising, malware or a link to a harmful site;
- reveals other people's private information;
- fakes results on purpose to spoil leaderboards for others;
- attacks, overloads or tries to get around the security of the site or its API.
4. Reports and moderation
If you see content that is illegal or breaks these terms, report it at soeren.michaels+dailychallenge@gmail.com or through the feedback form. Please say where it is (a link is best) and why it is a problem. We review reports promptly and decide carefully and objectively. We may remove content, and for serious or repeated breaches suspend or delete accounts. If we remove something of yours or restrict your account, we tell you why, unless that is impossible or not allowed, and you can ask us to reconsider by replying. You can also take the matter to court. This is our contact point for users and authorities under Art. 11 and 12 of the EU Digital Services Act; you can write to us in English or German.
5. Liability
The site is free, so we are liable only for intent and gross negligence, and without limit for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. We don't promise that the site is always available or that results and stats are correct. Back up anything that matters to you; you can download your data in Settings.
6. Changes and law
We may update these terms; if a change matters for you, we announce it on the site. German law applies. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, the mandatory consumer protection of that country still applies.
